Steve Bowles

Steve has over 20 years of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry knowledge with a communications and networking background. Steve’s previous employment included working for manufacturers Hirschmann and Garrettcom. His experience includes market and product development for emerging commercial markets and for military segments. He has also interacted as an integrator for manufacturers such as Cisco, Axis, Bosch, FLIR, Coretec, Genetec, AssaAbloy, TrafficVision, MG Squared, and Comnet providing network connectivity, security and other ITS solutions. At 360 Network Solutions (360NS), Steve has been responsible for numerous deployments of network and security solutions for state and local agencies throughout the Southeast U.S. As Director of Cyber & Physical Security at 360NS, Steve’s role is to develop strategies for security in the ITS market. His role involves product development and communication on leading edge technologies to secure ITS infrastructure. Steve is also involved in the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) as the Chairperson for the NEMA TS8-2018 Cyber and Physical Security for ITS which is the standard to improve cyber and physical security for ITS infrastructure. Steve is a graduate of the University of North Georgia (aka North Georgia College) with a BBA and Minor in Chemistry. Steve’s career path has been in the technology field from environmental to network computing and security.
